I’ve taken a few of my favorite designs and paintings
and reproduced them as petite backdrops on medium weight cotton canvas.
An overgrown jumble of hand-drawn roses put on a showy display becomming larger than life on this backdrop.
Lightly starched to stiffen the canvas.
The reactive dye process keeps the colors vibrant and true,
as well as maintaining the distressing details, canvas texture and patina
just like the original painting.
Allow for slight variations in the printing process.
Top corners have small leather tabs with antique-brass ring clips included for artful hanging.
Antiquing and distressing is intentional and part of the overall design
and painterly character.
A stitched hem finishes the canvas edge .
